Woke up to some of that fabuloso queso and yogurt, courtesy of Principal Clemente’s neighbor and her roaming dairy cows. We dined on Oscar’s patio this morning, chatting over breakfast before heading off to catch our 10:30 class. Unfortunately, after taking the speedy bus so that we’d get to Almeria on time, we were greeted by a deserted school. Apparently there is a Desfile today when students showcase their school spirit. Kids from all over the area get together and march military-style in their uniforms.
